HP at Mobile World Congress 2014

Our world is increasingly connected, mobile and social. Revenue streams from legacy business models are decreasing and must be replaced.  At Mobile World Congress 2014, HP made announcements to address the new business of the network including offerings that create new levels of consumer experience, engagement and innovation in today’s fast-paced mobile world.

  • On Feb. 18, HP launched the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M476, a device with unprecedented mobile integration that is the first to receive Mopria Alliance certification.
  • On Feb. 23, HP announced the HP TX1 POS Solution, a sleek yet durable Windows 8.1 Pro tablet-based point-of-sale (POS) solution that’s easy for businesses to setup and use; the HP Pavilion x360 convertible hybrid and the expansion of the HP DataPass service to the United States, providing customers with reliable technology that can keep up with their hectic lives; and the next-generation HP ElitePad 1000 G2 for enterprise and the new HP ProPad 600 for (SMBs), both of which are available with a broad set of accessories to help transform tablets in total business solutions.
  • On Feb. 24, HP introduced OpenNFV, a comprehensive Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) program designed to help the telecommunications industry accelerate innovation and launch new services faster, easier and with less expense through the virtualization of telecommunications core networks and network functions.
